Chamillionaire - Hangin’ Wit Mr. Koopa (2Disc)
Chamillionaire is in promotion for his upcoming studio album titled “Venom.” Chamillionaire’s mixtapes are always more like albums than mixtapes, but this is why people like them so much. He isn’t afraid to give away good music, because he knows in the long run it will help his marketing and promotion. The new mixtape is sponsored by thescrewshop.com and is a double disc mixtape. The second disc is the first disc, but screwed and chopped. So get your syrup and enjoy some new music from the Koopa. Always a free download over here. Home of the free hip hop mixtape downloads. Termanology - If Heaven Was A Mile Away
Termanology drops a new mixtape to start off the new year. The mixtape is a tribute to J. Dilla, one of the greatest producers in hip hop. Termanology recently released his first studio album and I’m glad to see that he hasn’t slowed down at all. The new tape features verses from Saigon, Skyzoo, Little Brother, Sheek Louch and more. The Delivery Guys (Dj Jamad & Dj Wreckineyez) - Order #01: Hosted by Don Cannon
Don Cannon is stepping into the mixtape scene very well. His mixtape with Asher Roth was a huge success and his latest with Marsha Ambrosius is just as notable. On this latest one he gets together Asher Roth’s dj, Dj Wreckineyez and Dj Jamad to mix up some brand new music for your listening pleasure. The mixtape is titled the Order # 01, which tends to seem like there will be more installments in the future. Wreckineyez and Jamad put together this tape well. The audio is high quality and they actualy cut it up, which is a rare featured skill from dj’s, on tapes these days. Cannon is making his mark as a talented producer as well. He does a good job hosting the tape also. Check it out. New music from Asher Roth, Mickey Factz, Mos Def, Black Milk, Royce Da 5′9″, Ludacris, The Cool Kids and more. Mick Boogie & Terry Urban - 2008 Recap
Mick Boogie and Terry Urban had an extremely good year in 2008. Combined, they released some of the best mixtapes ever, not just in 2008. They decided to close out the year with this nice little mix featuring some of the greatest tracks from ‘08. A nice mix and, of course, it’s put together well and is the high audio quality you have come to expect from Mick. Featuring songs from The Dream, Jay-Z, Kanye, Q-Tip, Lil Wayne, KiD CuDi and many more. Of course Mick can’t just put out a “compilation” mixtape, he needs to be unique and creative. So, every track on the tape is remixed in one way or another, and remixed well. Check it out. Always a free mixtape download over here. Home of the free hip hop mixtapes. Mick Boogie & Adele - 1988
Mick Boogie jumps right into a brand new mash up mixtape following his criticaly acclaimed “Viva La Hova.” On this latest one, similar to ‘Viva La Hova” Mick Boogie reaches out to some of the best up and coming producers and rhyme sayers to help in the project. This one remixes Adele’s “19″ album and backs it with a reinterpretation of beats from the 80’s decade of hip hop. Adele has been nominated for 4 Grammy’s by the way. Check it out. A nice mix here. WeDoItRightMag.com - Blu: “Drop The E”
We Do It Right Mag just dropped this new mixtape featuring some of the latest and greatest music out from west coast artist Blu. We Do It Right has been releasing some of these style mixtapes for a little bit now. They classify them as “Collected and Compiled.” Which is what they are. No dj, just a compilation of good music from the artist. I have been wondering for a little while now, what Blu is doing, and why he hasn’t released an official mixtape yet. But I guess if you wait too long, people will start making them without you. Always a free mixtape download over here. Home of the free hip hop mixtape downloads. Tracklist and downloads below. The Top 10 Mixtapes Of 2008
I would like to start this post off by saying thank you to all the proud and faithful supporters of GetRightMusic.com. I started this website in the middle of 2006 and we have quickly grown into a force to reckoned with. The reason I started this site was to simply spread my love for mixtapes and music to other like-minded fans. Get Right Music is all about quality and premium mixtapes. We only provide the best in mixtape releases and only post what we feel is worth the download and your time. To quote Styles P, “Time is Money.” Moving on, 2008 was a big year for mixtapes and hence for Get Right Music. I decided that to close out this great year, it would be nice to compile a list of 10 mixtapes that were released in ‘08 that I feel every hip hop fan should have in their library. Without taking any more of your valuable time, below is the list of what we feel were the most “notable” mixtapes of the past year. Enjoy. Oh, and Get Right…
Mick Boogie & Judah - Hype Club

Hypebeast.com and newly formed Hypetrak.com team up with mixtape master Mick Boogie and producer Judah to release a new mixtape. Hypebeast.com has been the premier site for staying up on the latest in streetwear fashion and Hypetrak.com posts a great eclectic selection of music daily. The mixtape features original songs from Lil Wayne, Wale, GLC, Ra the MC, plus many more up and comers that deserve the spotlight. The mixtape of course is put together well and the audio quality is excellent. I foresee this being a new series from the Hypebeast family. Check it out. Always a free mixtape download over here. The Clipse - Road to Till The Casket Drops

The Clipse drop a new mixtape in promotion of their brand new clothing line Play Clothes. Complex Magazine teams up with the VA duo to release the new tape. A short tape with all remixes (sort of) of some of the latest instrumentals out. The Clipse haven’t recorded new music in a long time so it’s nice to get some new music out of the lyrical team. The Clipse have always been on my top list, so download the tape now. Also if you want to get some of those new Play Clothes head over to The Fizix to cop that. The Empire & Lil Wayne - The Drought Is Over 6

The Empire and Lil Wayne drop a new mixtape; # 6 in the “Drought Is Over” mixtape series. Wayne just dropped Dedication 3 with Dj Drama and now he releases more new music with The Empire. Personally, I like this tape better. You be the judge. Either way, you know what it is. Lil Wayne = new music. Get Right Music = free mixtapes. Tracklist and downloads after the jump. Chamillionaire - Mixtape Messiah 5

Only a few months after Mixtape Messah 4 dropped, Chamillionaire releases number 5 in his on-going, continually growing classic mixtape series. Always put together well, with high audio quality and no dj’s, just how it should be. Chamilionaire definitely understands the method of promotion these days and how music is moving towards a free medium. The new mixtape features some new tracks as well as some freestyles over well known beats. The Texas artist is hard at work and it shows on this latest tape. Always a free mixtape download over here. Dj Drama & Lil Wayne - Dedication 3

Dj Drama and Lil Wayne team up for the third installment of their classic mixtape series. “Dedication 3″ features all new music from the platinum southern artist. The mixtape does feature a whole slew of featured artists. Spots from Jae Millz, Mack Mane, Willie The Kid, Tyga, Drake and some others. I’m a little surprised at the amount of Jae Millz featuring verses. I didn’t know Millz worked with Lil Wayne that much. Everyone wants some of that Weezy money I guess. Anyway, classic Lil Wayne mixtape here. One of the most anticipated of the year. Feel free to begin the debate as to which Dedication mixtape was the best so far. I personally am a fan of the first one. Search the site to find the others. Always a free mixtape download over here. Home of the free hip hop mixtapes. Tracklist and downloads after the jump. Evil Empire & Cam’Ron - Criminal Minded

Evil Empire drops a new Cam’Ron mixtape featuring a lot of the older Cam’Ron. This is the Cam’Ron music that I am a fan of. His newer stuff I haven’t really gotten into yet. But, this mixtape features classic tracks like “That’s Me”, “Double Up”, “Let Me Know”, “357″ and more. It does feature Cam’Ron’s newest track “Still The Reason.” If you need a good mixtape to remember the older Cam’Ron or replace some lost tracks in your library, then this is a good download.
